Having recently stayed at the Bowline Hotel during a business trip to Astoria, I can confidently say this gem exceeded my expectations. Perched on the picturesque Columbia River, the location provides both stunning views and convenient access to local eateries and attractions—a perfect blend for any traveler. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the lovely staff, who offered a delightful complimentary Prosecco, setting a welcoming tone for the stay. The hotel's industrial-modern rooms, complete with cozy seating areas and fantastic amenities like free WiFi and in-room coffee, made for a comfortable workspace after my daily runs. As an avid marathon runner, I appreciated the option to rent bikes right from the hotel, allowing me to explore the charming streets and Victorian architecture of Astoria while staying active. Though I didn't indulge in the barrel saunas, I could see how they would be a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. The Bowline Hotel is truly a perfect balance of relaxation and activity, and I'm already planning a return visit to experience more of what Astoria has to offer.
